The Need for Change:
Although regularly maintained, the old CompAir compressors’ energy usage had risen significantly, making them inefficient and expensive to operate. A modern, energy-efficient solution was required to reduce costs and improve operational sustainability.
Solution:
We installed a TAN15-VSD-RD (415 Volt) | 74 CFM 8 Bar Receiver Mounted Variable Speed Air Compressor with integrated dryer and filtration. The inverter-controlled system matches air supply precisely to demand, eliminating wasted energy and ensuring clean, moisture-free air.
Results:
With continuous control of compressed air output, the new system adapts to demand in real time. E-B Crash Repairers is projected to save approximately £4,746.96 per year in energy costs while benefiting from improved efficiency, reliability and reduced maintenance.
