Keep Your Compressed-Air System Working Reliably

Air compressor servicing should follow the requirements of the exact compressor, its operating hours, environment and manufacturer maintenance schedule. A fixed service interval does not suit every machine.

Our engineers support routine maintenance, fault finding and repairs across complete compressed-air systems, helping businesses identify wear, contamination, leakage and performance issues before they become larger problems where possible.

Service intervals vary. Some compressors require maintenance by running hours, some by elapsed time, and some by a combination of both. The correct schedule should come from the manufacturer and the machine’s actual operating conditions.

What Our Compressor Servicing Can Include

Compressor ServicingRoutine manufacturer-led maintenance, filters, oils, belts and service items as applicable to the machine.
Fault DiagnosisInvestigation of alarms, pressure problems, overheating, unusual noise, leakage and poor performance.
RepairsReplacement of failed or worn components where diagnosis confirms repair is required.
Air Dryer SupportInspection and servicing of refrigeration and desiccant drying equipment where applicable.
Filtration & DrainsFilter elements, condensate drains and downstream air-treatment checks as part of system maintenance.
Receiver & System ChecksVisual condition and associated system checks, with statutory examination requirements handled separately where applicable.

Planned Maintenance vs Emergency Repairs

Planned Servicing

  • Scheduled around manufacturer requirements
  • Maintenance based on actual operating hours and conditions
  • Service consumables replaced where due
  • Operating condition and fault history reviewed
  • Opportunity to identify developing issues

Breakdown & Repair Support

  • Fault diagnosis after unexpected failure
  • Pressure, control and electrical fault investigation
  • Repair or replacement recommendations
  • Parts sourcing where required
  • Emergency support for critical compressor downtime

24/7 Emergency Compressor Breakdown Support

Routine servicing cannot eliminate every breakdown. Where a compressor fails unexpectedly and the loss of compressed air is affecting operations, our emergency support is available 24 hours a day.

Urgent Fault SupportInitial diagnosis and guidance for compressor breakdowns.
Engineer AttendanceAttendance arranged subject to location, engineer availability, site access and fault circumstances.
Repair & RecoveryRepair options, replacement parts and temporary-air routes considered where appropriate.

We Support More Than the Compressor

A compressed-air system can include several components that affect pressure, air quality and reliability. Servicing only the compressor may miss problems elsewhere in the system.

System ComponentTypical Service Considerations
Air CompressorLubricant, filters, belts, valves, cooling, control system and manufacturer service items.
Refrigeration DryerDrain operation, condenser cleanliness, refrigeration performance and pressure drop.
Desiccant DryerDesiccant condition, valve operation, purge performance, filtration and dew-point performance where monitored.
FiltersElement condition, pressure drop, drainage and suitability for required air quality.
Air ReceiverCondition, drainage, safety devices and statutory examination requirements where applicable.
PipeworkLeakage, restriction, corrosion, poor routing and pressure-loss issues.
Condensate ManagementDrain operation, oil-water separator condition and correct disposal route.

Service Contracts & Planned Maintenance

For businesses that rely heavily on compressed air, a planned maintenance arrangement can make servicing easier to schedule and reduce the risk of maintenance being missed.

The right service plan should reflect the number of machines, operating hours, criticality, manufacturer requirements and site access — not a one-size-fits-all annual package.

Compressor Brands & Types

We service and support many established compressor makes and technologies. Exact parts availability and repair scope depend on the machine, model, age and component availability.

Rotary Screw CompressorsFixed-speed and variable-speed industrial screw compressors.
Piston CompressorsDirect-drive and belt-driven workshop and industrial piston machines.
Hydrovane / Rotary VaneMaintenance and repair support for suitable rotary-vane compressor systems.
Air TreatmentDryers, filters, drains and condensate-management equipment.
Multi-Compressor SystemsLead/lag, fixed + VSD and shared distribution-system maintenance.
Older EquipmentAssessment and repair advice subject to parts availability and overall machine condition.

Air Compressor Servicing FAQs

How often should an air compressor be serviced?

Follow the service schedule for the exact compressor. Maintenance intervals can be based on running hours, elapsed time or both, and can change with operating conditions.

Do you service compressors that you did not supply?

In many cases, yes. We support a wide range of compressor makes and models, subject to machine condition, technical information and parts availability.

Does regular servicing prevent compressor breakdowns?

Servicing can reduce avoidable failures and identify developing problems, but it cannot guarantee that a machine will never break down.

Do you provide 24/7 servicing?

Our 24/7 support is for urgent compressor breakdown assistance. Routine planned servicing is scheduled through our normal service team.

Can you service the dryer and filters at the same time?

Yes, where the equipment and service requirements are known. Treating the complete compressed-air system together can be more useful than looking at the compressor alone.

Is a routine compressor service the same as a pressure-system examination?

No. Routine maintenance and statutory examination under a Written Scheme of Examination are different activities. Where the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations apply, the required examination should be completed in accordance with the Written Scheme.
