Site & Workshop Piston Compressors

110 Volt Direct-Driven & Belt-Driven Air Compressors

Portable 110V piston compressors for site, workshop, maintenance and compatible pneumatic-tool applications where a suitable 110V supply is available.

110V Piston Compressor Range

The range includes Tanair and Nuair 110V piston compressors, covering compact direct-driven 24 and 25-litre models plus a larger belt-driven 50-litre option. Choose by required airflow and duty cycle first, then confirm the electrical supply and receiver size needed for the application.

Direct Drive or Belt Drive?

Direct-Driven

A compact configuration suited to portable applications where size and easy movement are important.

Belt-Driven

A belt and pulley connect the motor to the compressor pump. The belt forms part of normal inspection and servicing.

Choose by Air Demand

Check the tool or equipment CFM requirement and expected duty cycle before choosing between the two models.

110V Electrical Supply

110V equipment is commonly used in site environments, but the compressor still needs a correctly rated electrical supply.

Before ordering: confirm the compressor's current draw, plug type and the rating of any transformer, distribution unit, extension lead and circuit being used. Do not assume that every 110V outlet can supply every 110V compressor.

Receiver Size & Airflow

24 Litre

The more compact receiver option for applications where portability is the priority.

50 Litre

Provides a larger stored-air reserve for applications that benefit from more receiver capacity.

CFM Comes First

A larger receiver does not increase the compressor's continuous airflow. Match the compressor to the actual air requirement first.

110 Volt Compressor FAQs

How many 110V compressors are shown in this range?

The range now includes three current models: two direct-driven compressors and one belt-driven compressor.

What airflow is available?

The current models provide 6.7 CFM, 7.1 CFM and 9 CFM depending on the compressor.

Do I need a transformer?

That depends on the available site supply. Where a transformer is used, it must be correctly rated for the compressor's electrical requirements.

Does the larger receiver give more CFM?

No. Receiver capacity stores compressed air but does not increase the compressor pump's continuous airflow output.

Can these compressors run air tools?

They can where the compressor's airflow, working pressure and duty cycle are correctly matched to the tool or equipment.
