Compact Recoil Air Hose

Coiled Air Hose

Sealey PE and PU coiled air hoses for workshops, garages and pneumatic tools, with 5 metre and 10 metre options in 5mm, 6mm and 8mm bore sizes.

Space-Saving Coiled Hose for Compressed Air

Coiled hose extends while you work and recoils towards its original shape when released, helping keep excess hose compact around benches, machines and workshop air points.

The current range includes five Sealey hoses: three compact 5 metre PE options with 5mm bore, followed by two 10 metre PU hoses with 6mm and 8mm bores.

Choose the hose to suit the air demand of the connected tool, the working reach required and the connection style you need.

The 5 metre PE hoses are shown first, followed by the longer 10 metre PU options in increasing bore size.

For air tools, do not choose by hose length alone. Check hose bore, compressor airflow, operating pressure and the fittings required at both ends.
Range Guide

Compare the Coiled Hose Options

SA335 · 5m · 5mm PE

Compact polyethylene recoil hose with 1/4" BSP unions for suitable threaded compressed-air connections.

SA305 · 5m · 5mm PE

Polyethylene coiled hose supplied with quick couplings for convenient workshop use.

AHK03 · 5m · 5mm PE

Compact coiled hose kit supplied with connectors for general workshop and pneumatic applications.

AH10C/6 · 10m · 6mm PU

Longer polyurethane recoil hose with 1/4" BSP unions and a 6mm bore.

AH10C/8 · 10m · 8mm PU

The largest-bore option in the current range, with 1/4" BSP unions and improved airflow capacity over the smaller-bore hoses.

Need More Airflow?

If the tool has a high CFM demand, a larger-bore straight hose or hose reel may be more suitable than a compact recoil hose.

Choosing a Hose

5mm, 6mm or 8mm Bore?

Internal diameter directly affects how much air can pass through the hose and how much pressure can be lost between the compressor and the tool.

5mm Bore

Compact and easy to manage for suitable lower-demand pneumatic applications and shorter working areas.

6mm Bore

Provides more flow area than the 5mm hose while retaining the compact coiled format.

8mm Bore

The largest bore in this range and the stronger choice where the connected tool needs more airflow.

Check the Tool CFM

Always compare the hose with the tool's stated air consumption and the airflow available from the compressor.

PE or PU?

Choosing the Hose Material

The 5 metre products in the current range use PE hose, while the 10 metre AH10C models use PU hose.

PE provides a compact, firm recoil format. PU is used on the longer options and offers flexible handling for regular workshop movement.

Connections

Check What Is Fitted to Each End

The range includes different connection arrangements, so check what your compressor, airline or tool requires before ordering.

  • SA335 uses 1/4" BSP unions
  • SA305 is supplied with quick couplings
  • AHK03 is supplied as a connector kit
  • AH10C/6 and AH10C/8 use 1/4" BSP unions
Workshop Use

Why Choose Coiled Air Hose?

  • Keeps excess hose compact when it is not fully extended
  • Useful around benches, workstations and smaller workshop areas
  • Reduces the amount of loose hose lying across the floor
  • Available with different bore sizes and connection arrangements
  • Easy to pair with suitable blow guns and pneumatic tools
Installation & Care

Look After Your Coiled Hose

Allow the coil to extend and recoil freely without snagging. Keep the hose away from sharp edges, hot surfaces, moving machinery and areas where it may be crushed or driven over.

Inspect the hose and end fittings regularly, and replace the assembly if you find significant cuts, cracking, leaks, damaged fittings or deterioration.

FAQs

Coiled Air Hose FAQs

What is the advantage of coiled air hose?

It extends for use and recoils towards its original shape afterwards, helping keep excess hose compact around the working area.

What lengths are available?

The current range includes 5 metre and 10 metre coiled hoses.

Which hose has the largest bore?

The Sealey AH10C/8 has an 8mm bore, the largest internal diameter in the current live range.

Can I use a 5mm hose with any air tool?

No. A 5mm hose can be restrictive for higher-demand tools. Check the tool CFM, compressor output, hose length and operating pressure before choosing.

What is the difference between SA335 and SA305?

Both are 5 metre, 5mm-bore PE coiled hoses, but SA335 has 1/4" BSP unions while SA305 is supplied with quick couplings.

Can you help me choose the correct hose?

Yes. Call 0121 753 3330 with your compressor and air-tool details and the working reach you need.
