Measure the Hose Outside Diameter
Measure the hose or connection where the clip will sit. Choose a clip whose adjustment range comfortably covers that outside diameter.
Do Not Overtighten
A worm-drive clip should secure the hose without crushing or cutting into softer rubber or silicone.
Use the Correct Hose
The clip is only one part of the connection. Hose pressure rating, temperature rating and material compatibility must also suit the application.
Check the Fitting Connection
Make sure the hose is fully located over the hose tail or fitting before tightening the clip.
Inspect During Maintenance
Check clips for corrosion, loosening, damage or hose deterioration during routine system maintenance.

The current Original Range Jubilee product descriptions state zinc-protected mild steel.
How do Jubilee clips tighten?
They use a worm-drive mechanism with a continuously threaded band, allowing the clip to be adjusted around the hose.
Can they be used on compressed-air hose?
They can be used in pneumatic and compressed-air hose applications where the hose, fitting, clip size and pressure rating are all suitable for the installation.
How do I know which size to buy?
Measure the outside diameter of the hose at the connection point and choose a clip whose adjustment range covers that diameter.
