Precautions:

– Pre-Installation Cleaning: Always flush piping thoroughly to eliminate dirt, dust, rust, and other foreign particles that could hinder performance.

– Clean Environment Required: Install the filter regulator in a clean, dust-free environment to ensure its longevity and reliability.

– Safe Threading Practices: Utilise nipples with taper threads (R) with Teflon tape for secure sealing, ensuring that no tape enters the unit. For straight-thread nipples (G), always apply a sealing washer to guarantee a leak-proof connection.

– Material Sensitivity: Exercise caution with polycarbonate bowls; these may become compromised or fail if exposed to synthetic oils, thinners, solvents, trichloroethylene, kerosene, or other aromatic hydrocarbons, which can lead to hazardous situations.

Pressure Setting:

To adjust pressure accurately, pull the knob outward and turn it clockwise to increase the pressure to the desired level. After setting the pressure, push the knob back into its locked position to secure your settings. Conversely, turning the knob counterclockwise will gradually decrease the pressure, providing you with the flexibility needed for various applications.
