Do not rely on calendar age alone. Operating hours, pressure drop, condensate, ambient conditions and the manufacturer's service guidance should also be considered.

Filter Element Replacement Checks

  • Fully isolate and depressurise the compressed-air system before opening a filter housing
  • Confirm the replacement element reference and filtration grade before fitting
  • Inspect seals, O-rings and the inside of the housing
  • Clean the housing as required without contaminating the new element
  • Refit the bowl or housing correctly and check for leaks after repressurising
  • Record the replacement date and next planned service interval
