How to Identify the Correct Filter Element
Housing Manufacturer
Start with the make shown on the complete filter housing.
Housing Model
Record the model or size reference from the filter body or identification label.
Existing Element Code
The old element reference is often the fastest route to the correct replacement.
Filtration Grade
Confirm the required grade. Elements with similar dimensions may provide very different filtration performance.
Blocked Elements Increase Pressure Drop
As filtration media becomes contaminated, resistance to airflow increases. Excessive pressure drop can reduce downstream pressure and cause the compressor to work harder to maintain the required system pressure.

How Often Should Filter Elements Be Changed?

Filter Element Replacement Checks
- Fully isolate and depressurise the compressed-air system before opening a filter housing
- Confirm the replacement element reference and filtration grade before fitting
- Inspect seals, O-rings and the inside of the housing
- Clean the housing as required without contaminating the new element
- Refit the bowl or housing correctly and check for leaks after repressurising
- Record the replacement date and next planned service interval
