Engine-Driven Compressed Air

Nuair Diesel Receiver Mounted Air Compressors

Professional 33.3 CFM diesel piston compressors with 270 litre or 500 litre air receivers for off-grid, site, agricultural and remote compressed-air applications.

Compressed Air Where Mains Electricity Is Not Available

The Nuair diesel receiver-mounted range combines a stationary lubricated belt-driven piston compressor, diesel engine and integrated air receiver in one package. Both current models provide 945 L/min / 33.3 CFM displacement at up to 10 bar, with the choice of a 270 litre or 500 litre receiver.

They are suited to professional applications where a conventional electric compressor is impractical, including remote maintenance, construction, agriculture and mobile or off-grid compressed-air duties.

Independent Diesel DriveNo mains electrical supply is required for compressor operation.
Receiver MountedChoose 270 litre or 500 litre stored-air capacity to suit the application and demand pattern.
Professional OutputBoth models are rated at 945 L/min / 33.3 CFM displacement and 10 bar maximum pressure.
The stated 33.3 CFM figure is compressor displacement, not confirmed Free Air Delivery (FAD). Size the machine against the actual air consumption, working pressure and duty cycle of the equipment being supplied.

Nuair Diesel Receiver Mounted Range

Two current receiver-mounted models, arranged by receiver size from 270 litres to 500 litres.

270 Litre or 500 Litre Receiver?

Both current Nuair diesel models use the same 10 HP diesel drive and 945 L/min / 33.3 CFM displacement compressor output. The main choice is receiver capacity and the resulting physical size of the package.

ModelReceiverOutputPressureDimensionsWeight
NB7/270F/10 Diesel270 L945 L/min / 33.3 CFM10 bar / 145 psi1640 × 560 × 1340 mm183 kg
NB7/500F/10 Diesel500 L945 L/min / 33.3 CFM10 bar / 145 psi2070 × 700 × 1400 mm250 kg
Receiver size does not increase compressor output. Both models have the same stated displacement. The larger receiver provides more stored-air capacity and can help buffer intermittent demand.

Choosing the Correct Diesel Compressor

Air RequirementConfirm the real CFM or L/min consumption of the tools or process, including simultaneous use.
Working PressureAllow for pressure loss through hose, fittings, regulators and other downstream equipment.
Duty & RecoveryConsider how long the tools will run, how often demand peaks and how quickly the receiver must recover.
Receiver CapacityThe 500 litre model provides greater stored-air volume where demand is more intermittent or peaks are larger.
Installation SpaceCheck access, ventilation, exhaust clearance and the larger footprint of the 500 litre package.
Airline ConnectionBoth current models use a 1/2 inch outlet connection. Size downstream hose and fittings appropriately.

Important Diesel Compressor Safety

Diesel engines produce exhaust gases. Engine-driven compressors must be positioned and operated in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions with suitable ventilation and exhaust clearance. They must not be run in an enclosed or inadequately ventilated area where exhaust gases can accumulate.

Before use, check the installation surface, receiver condition, safety devices, airline connections and the requirements of the pneumatic equipment being supplied.

Supply note: the manufacturer's current data marks these diesel models with a note that the compressor is not supplied with a battery or power leads; these should be sourced separately where required.

Typical Applications

Construction & Site WorkCompressed air where a fixed electrical supply is unavailable or inconvenient.
Agriculture & Rural SitesIndependent compressed air for remote maintenance and compatible pneumatic equipment.
Mobile MaintenanceUseful for service, repair and tyre-related work where an engine-driven air source is required.

Nuair Diesel Air Compressor FAQs

What is the output of the Nuair diesel receiver-mounted compressors?

Both current models are rated at 945 L/min / 33.3 CFM displacement with a maximum pressure of 10 bar.

What is the difference between the 270L and 500L versions?

The compressor output and maximum pressure are the same. The principal difference is receiver capacity, package size and weight: one uses a 270 litre receiver and the other a 500 litre receiver.

Is 33.3 CFM the Free Air Delivery?

No confirmed FAD figure is stated in the manufacturer data used for this range. The 33.3 CFM figure is compressor displacement, so tool selection should be based on actual required airflow and duty.

Can a diesel compressor be used indoors?

Engine-driven compressors produce exhaust gases and must only be operated where the manufacturer's ventilation and exhaust requirements can be met. They should not be used in an enclosed or inadequately ventilated area where exhaust gases could accumulate.

Can Compressed Air Systems UK help me choose between the two models?

Yes. Tell us the equipment you need to run, required pressure, expected duty and installation location and we can help compare the 270 litre and 500 litre options.

Need Help Sizing a Diesel Air Compressor?

Call us with the tools or equipment being supplied, required pressure and expected operating pattern. We can help determine whether the 270 litre or 500 litre Nuair package is the better fit.
