Petrol engines produce carbon monoxide and other exhaust gases. Engine-driven compressors must not be operated indoors or in inadequately ventilated spaces. Position the compressor securely, follow the manufacturer's operating instructions and keep hot engine and exhaust components clear of combustible materials.
For receiver-mounted equipment, make sure the pressure vessel and downstream compressed-air system are installed, maintained and inspected as required for the application.
