Clear Braided Hose in 30 Metre Rolls
The Tanair clear braided hose range is available in seven sizes, from 1/4" / 6mm ID through to 1" / 25mm ID. Each product is supplied as a 30 metre roll.
The transparent hose makes visual inspection straightforward, while the internal braid adds reinforcement and helps the hose retain its shape in suitable applications.
Choose the hose by internal diameter, outside diameter, working pressure, media and the fittings required at each end.

How to Choose the Correct Hose Size
Internal Diameter
The ID determines the available flow area and the size of hose tail required. Larger air demands generally require a larger bore.
Outside Diameter
The OD is important when selecting clips and when checking clearance through brackets or routing points.
Working Pressure
Confirm the hose is suitable for the actual operating pressure of the system before use.
Media & Environment
Check compatibility with the air, water or other medium involved, together with temperature and site conditions.
Avoid Unnecessary Pressure Drop
A hose that is too small for the required airflow can restrict a pneumatic tool or machine. The effect increases over longer hose runs and with higher air consumption.
Match the Complete Hose Assembly
Once the hose bore has been selected, the hose tails must match the internal diameter and the retention method must suit the outside diameter and application.

- Match clips or clamps to the hose OD
- Check BSP threads on couplings, tools and equipment
- Use fittings suitable for the required pressure and media
Check Hose Condition Regularly
Inspect flexible hose routinely and replace it if you find significant cuts, cracking, bulging, damaged reinforcement, hardened material or leaking fittings.
Keep hose away from sharp edges, excessive heat and locations where it may be crushed or repeatedly driven over.
