Adjustable Hose Clips for Air Hose Connections
The current Tanair range contains 15 Jubilee-style worm-drive clips from 10mm through to 100mm, giving a wide choice for securing flexible hose to compatible hose tails and fittings.
The adjustable screw mechanism makes this style of clip straightforward to tighten, inspect and remove during installation or maintenance.
Select the clip using the outside diameter of the hose once it is fitted over the hose tail, and make sure the clip range is suitable for the finished assembly.

Tanair Jubilee Clip Range
Small Hose Connections
10mm, 12mm, 16mm, 20mm and 22mm clips for suitable small-bore hose assemblies.
Medium Hose Connections
30mm, 35mm, 40mm and 45mm sizes for compatible workshop and compressed-air hose assemblies.
Larger Hose Connections
55mm, 60mm, 70mm and 80mm clips for larger flexible hose and duct-style connections where suitable.

Measure the Finished Hose Outside Diameter
A hose expands when it is pushed over a hose tail, so the clip size cannot be selected reliably from hose bore alone.
Fit the hose fully onto the tail, measure the outside diameter over the connection, then select a clip whose working range suits that finished diameter.
Worm-Drive Hose Clip Design
A worm-drive clip uses a screw to tighten the metal band around the hose. This allows the clamp diameter to be adjusted during installation and loosened again when maintenance or hose replacement is required.

Fitting a Jubilee Clip
- Match the hose tail to the hose internal diameter
- Push the hose fully onto the tail before positioning the clip
- Place the clip over the hose-tail section of the connection
- Tighten evenly without damaging or cutting into the hose
- Check the clip and connection before safely repressurising the system
- Inspect the joint for leaks once the system is back in service
Choose the Clamp Style to Suit the Application
Jubilee-Style Clip
Adjustable worm-drive clamp that can be tightened and loosened using the screw mechanism. Useful where access for maintenance or adjustment is desirable.
Double-Ear O Clip
Compact crimped hose clamp fitted with suitable O-clip pincers. Normally treated as a single-use component once crimped.
Whichever style is chosen, the hose, tail and clamp must all be suitable for the system pressure and operating conditions.

What sizes are available?
The current Tanair range covers 15 sizes from 10mm through to 100mm.
How do I choose the right clip size?
Measure the outside diameter of the hose after it has been pushed fully onto the hose tail, then choose a clip whose clamping range suits that finished diameter.
Should I match the clip to the hose internal diameter?
No. The clip clamps around the outside of the hose, so the finished outside diameter over the hose tail is the important measurement.
What is a worm-drive hose clip?
It is an adjustable metal-band clamp tightened by turning a screw, which draws the band more tightly around the hose.
Can a Jubilee-style clip be removed?
Yes, the screw mechanism can be loosened for removal. Inspect the clip before refitting and replace it if it is damaged, distorted or corroded.
What is the difference between a Jubilee clip and an O clip?
A Jubilee-style clip is adjustable using a screw. A double-ear O clip is crimped into place and is normally replaced after removal.
