Power Systems PASCAL 4.0-10
The new Power Systems PASCAL 4.0-10 screw compressors by Power Systems have been designed to offer modularity and flexibility. It provides multiple solutions suitable for different user’s requirements. The range consists of floor mounted and receiver mounted with or without integrated refrigerated dryer. All models from 2.2 to 15 kW benefit from an intelligent electronic controller. The controller guarantees optimum monitoring and regulation of the compressor’s operation
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Flexible Range – from 2.2 to 15 kW as floor mounted or air receiver mounted (270/500 litre from 2.2 to 7.5 kW and 500 litres from 11 to 15 kW). All models are available with or without integral refrigerated air dryer. Pressure range at 8, 10 and 13 bar (13 bar from 7.5 kW).
- Refrigerated Air Dryer – the PASCAL range is available with an air treatment module (DF models) including a high performance refrigerated air dryer. This allows the compressor in the DF version, to provide both dry and clean compressed air. The quality standard of air is classification Class 4 for humidity, in accordance with ISO 8573-1.
- DNAir2 Electronic Controllers – the advanced controllers fitted to the PASCAL range have been specifically developed. This is to guarantee optimum monitoring and regulation of the compressor’s operation, allowing flexibility and full programming of the complete compressed air station. We do this for maximum efficiency and safety.
- Belt Driven Transmission – the highly developed POLY-V belt-drive ensures significantly lower power losses. It also offers three times the service life compared to standard range type belts fitted to other compressors on the market. Belt tensioning is carried out through a slider system.
- Cooling system – the centrifugal fan is activated automatically by the thermostatic control through the DNAir controller. This allows the compressor to quickly reach and precisely maintain the ideal operating temperature.
- Thermostatic Valve – the thermostatic valve regulates the oil temperature, preventing the formation of condensate inside the oil-separator vessel.
- Low Noise Levels – the centrifugal fan design along with the careful arrangement of all other components within the cabinet. In addition to the extensive sound insulation results in the PASCAL, offering very low operating noise levels.
- Compact, Space Saving Design – the compact design is ideal for installation when space is restricted. Or, in situations when the compressor needs to be installed near the production area.
- Ease of access to all components all main components can be readily accessed from the front access door. This allows convenient inspection with fast and simple maintenance.

DNAir2 Electronic Controller
The main controller provides a multi-function and multi-language backlit LCD graphic display, the menu is drop down type for simple intuitive operation. The display utilises familiar and convenient icons for ease of use. The main screen displays the following important information:
- Working pressure (offload and load pressure)
- Oil temperature
- Compressor status (stand-by, offload, load)
- Cooling fan status (off or on)
- Date and time
- Hours remaining to maintenance
- Percentage load (inverter/variable speed models)
- Dryer dew point indicator
High efficiency Motors
The design of the PASCAL compressors, including the high efficiency IE3 motors, has been fully focused on combining the different components that make up a perfect compressed air installation for a completely integrated, modular and functional system that combines maximum convenience with optimum energy efficiency.
Master/slave function
It is possible to connect up to 4 compressors for managing the workload in such a way to
equalize the hours of each compressor in a network to ease servicing.
The system pressure can be dynamically programmed to various set pressures according to usage.
Optional expansion module:
GSM/GPRS/Ethernet/WiFi module (for on-line compressor status, remote assistance, connection
with PC, Smartphone and Tablet, connection between neighbour compressors).
