When is an adsorption dryer required?

Adsorption drying is used where compressed air must be significantly drier than the level normally provided by a refrigerated dryer, including applications exposed to freezing conditions or sensitive processes.

What pressure dew point is available?

The OM-A-DRY product information lists a standard -40°C pressure dew point, with -25°C and -70°C options depending on the model and specification.

What is purge-air consumption?

Heatless adsorption dryers use a portion of already dried compressed air to regenerate the desiccant. This air consumption must be allowed for when sizing the compressor and dryer.

Selection should consider delivered airflow, working pressure, required dew point, purge-air demand, inlet temperature, ambient conditions and the required filtration arrangement.
