MGF MedAir Oil-Free Compressors
Compact MGF oil-free compressed-air solutions developed for professional medical, laboratory, veterinary and specialist applications where dependable, filtered air and quiet operation are important.
Compact MedAir for Specialist Applications
The product below is the MedAir configuration currently offered through Tanair Compressors. Its compact oil-free design is intended for professional environments where clean, filtered compressed air is required and space or noise may be limited.
MGF's current MedAir family includes aftercooled and membrane-dryer versions for professional medical and laboratory applications. Because the Tanair product shown is an earlier MedAir configuration, confirm the exact connected-equipment pressure, flow, drying and filtration requirements before ordering.

What to Check Before Ordering
MGF MedAir FAQs
What applications is the current MGF MedAir family intended for?
MGF lists professional medical and laboratory uses including pulmonary ventilators, N-CPAP devices, portable/mobile units, veterinary applications and other uses requiring oil-free, clean and filtered compressed air. Final suitability must be checked against the connected equipment.
What is the difference between MedAir 1 and MedAir 2?
Current MedAir 1 uses an aftercooler with 5 micron filtration. Current MedAir 2 adds a membrane dryer with 0.01 micron filtration and a pressure dew point of approximately -15°C.
Is the Tanair MedAir product shown here the same as current MedAir 1 or MedAir 2?
No automatic equivalence should be assumed. The Tanair product uses an earlier MedAir 3 SKU, so we recommend confirming the exact supplied specification before order.
Does oil-free compression automatically make the complete air system suitable for medical use?
No. Oil-free compression is only one part of the system. Final suitability depends on the complete installation, including filtration, drying, pipework, commissioning, maintenance and the connected equipment's requirements.
Can the current MedAir family run continuously?
MGF currently specifies MedAir 1 and MedAir 2 for 100% duty operation, subject to correct installation and operating conditions. The earlier product shown below should be checked against its exact supplied specification.
Can Compressed Air Systems UK help confirm the right configuration?
Yes. Send us the connected equipment make/model, required pressure and flow, expected operating pattern, available electrical supply and any stated filtration or dew-point requirement.
Need Help Specifying an MGF MedAir System?
Tell us what equipment the compressor will supply, the required pressure and flow, operating pattern, available electrical supply and any stated air-quality requirement, and we can help confirm the appropriate configuration.
