Which Tanair Workshop Compressor?

230V Workshop Option

The 2.2 kW TAN-PCB model provides a single-phase option where a suitable 230V supply is available.

415V Heavy-Duty Models

The larger 4 kW, 5.5 kW and 7.5 kW compressors require a suitable three-phase electrical supply.

Size by Air Demand

Compare the connected equipment's required CFM and working pressure with the compressor output and expected duty cycle before choosing.

Receiver capacity does not increase continuous CFM. A larger receiver provides more stored air, but the compressor pump still needs to meet the actual ongoing airflow requirement.

Routine Maintenance

Oil & Intake Filter

Check compressor oil level and intake filtration in line with the model-specific maintenance instructions.

Drive Belt

Inspect the belt condition and tension as part of routine maintenance and keep the belt guard correctly fitted.

Receiver & Condensate

Drain condensate regularly and deal with any applicable pressure-system examination requirements separately from routine servicing.

These are piston compressors and should be selected according to the required duty cycle. Sustained high-demand applications may be better suited to a rotary screw compressor.
