Choose an MGF PRIME Compressor With Integrated Drying

This range combines MGF PRIME oil-free piston compressor technology with an integrated membrane dryer. The products below include standard PRIME M, acoustically enclosed CS PRIME M and selected PRIME HD configurations.

The dryer-equipped range spans compact single-pump machines through tandem and higher-output systems. Standard and HD products are rated at different reference pressures, so compare free air delivery only on a like-for-like pressure basis.

Selection note: the integrated membrane dryer helps control moisture, but final point-of-use air quality still depends on the complete installation, including filtration, pipework, commissioning, maintenance and the requirements of the connected equipment.

PRIME With Dryer Configurations

Standard PRIME MOil-free receiver-mounted packages with membrane drying for applications needing integrated moisture control.
CS Silenced PRIME MAcoustically enclosed dryer-equipped models for installations where compressor noise is an important consideration.
PRIME HD With DryerHeavy-duty configurations designed around higher working-pressure and duty requirements. Compare their FAD at the stated pressure rather than against standard 5-bar figures.

Dryer reference: current MGF PRIME literature identifies the membrane-dryer versions with a maximum pressure dew-point reference of approximately -20°C. This is a dryer specification, not a blanket statement that every complete installation automatically meets a particular dental, medical or laboratory air standard.

What to Check Before Ordering

FAD at Working PressureStandard and HD PRIME variants use different pressure references. Size from free air delivery at the pressure your connected equipment actually requires.
Moisture RequirementThe integrated membrane dryer is designed for moisture control. Applications needing a lower dew point may require the separate desiccant-dryer range.
Duty CycleMatch the compressor configuration to expected run time, peak demand and reserve capacity, particularly on higher-demand installations.
Electrical SupplyThe range includes 230V and 400V configurations. Confirm the supply and protective requirements for the exact selected model.
Noise & LocationCS versions add an acoustic cabinet for lower operating noise while still requiring suitable ventilation and service access.
Complete Air SystemFiltration, pipework, receiver arrangement, commissioning and maintenance all contribute to the delivered air quality at point of use.

MGF PRIME With Dryer FAQs

Do these PRIME models include an air dryer?

Yes. This page is specifically for MGF PRIME configurations with an integrated membrane dryer.

What dew point does the membrane dryer provide?

Current MGF literature gives a maximum pressure dew-point reference of approximately -20°C for the PRIME membrane-dryer range. Confirm the exact requirement for the application before ordering.

What is the difference between standard and HD models?

HD configurations are intended for heavier-duty and higher-pressure operation. Their airflow figures are quoted at a different reference pressure, so do not compare the headline CFM directly with a standard 5-bar model.

What is the difference between open and CS versions?

Open PRIME M models use a conventional exposed compressor arrangement. CS versions place the compressor system inside an acoustic cabinet to reduce operating noise.

Does an oil-free compressor with a dryer automatically meet a dental or medical air standard?

No. Final air quality depends on the complete system, including filtration, pipework, commissioning, maintenance and the exact requirements of the connected equipment.

Can Compressed Air Systems UK help size the system?

Yes. Send us the connected equipment, simultaneous demand, required pressure, operating pattern, electrical supply and any stated air-quality or dew-point requirement.

Need Help Choosing an MGF PRIME With Dryer?

Tell us the equipment being supplied, required pressure, duty and moisture specification and we can help narrow down the appropriate PRIME configuration.
