Air Dryers
Compare refrigerated, packaged, combination and adsorption dryer options from 4 to 1530 CFM for moisture control and improved compressed-air quality.
Which Type of Air Dryer Do You Need?
The correct route depends on the required dew point, airflow, operating conditions, available space and whether filtration should be integrated into the package.
Explore Our Air Dryer Ranges
Refrigeration Dryers
Standalone refrigerated dryers for general workshop and industrial moisture control.
View Range →Refrigeration Dryer Packages
Pre-matched dryer and filtration packages for a clearer complete air-treatment route.
View Range →Combination Dryers
Compact refrigeration dryers with integrated filters for simpler installation and servicing.
View Range →Adsorption Dryers
Desiccant dryers for very low pressure dew points and critical compressed-air applications.

Moisture forms naturally when compressed air cools. Without effective drying, water can corrode pipework, damage pneumatic equipment, affect product quality and increase maintenance costs.
| Dryer Type | Best For | Typical Dew Point Route | Filtration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Refrigeration Dryer | General workshop and industrial moisture control | Commonly around +3°C pressure dew point | Selected separately |
| Refrigeration Dryer Package | Sites wanting a pre-matched dryer and filter arrangement | General industrial drying | Included according to package |
| Combination Dryer | Compact installations with integrated treatment | General industrial drying | Integrated |
| Adsorption Dryer | Very dry air, freezing conditions and sensitive processes | Commonly -40°C, with other options model-dependent | Correct pre- and after-filtration required |
What We Supply
- Standalone refrigerated dryers for general moisture removal.
- Dryer packages with filtration for easier system specification.
- Combination dryers with integrated filters for compact installations.
- Adsorption dryers for low dew point and critical air-quality requirements.
How should an air dryer be sized?
Select from the compressor's actual delivered airflow, then apply the manufacturer's correction factors for working pressure, inlet temperature and ambient temperature.
Why is spare dryer capacity important?
A sensible margin helps the dryer manage warmer conditions, demand peaks, pressure variation and future system growth.
When should I choose an adsorption dryer?
Choose adsorption drying where the required pressure dew point is significantly lower than a refrigerated dryer can provide, or where pipework may be exposed to freezing conditions.
Do I still need filters?
Usually, yes. The required filter arrangement depends on the compressor, dryer technology, final air-quality requirement and whether filtration is already integrated.
Can I size a dryer from compressor motor kW?
No. Dryer selection should be based on actual free air delivery and operating conditions, not compressor motor size alone.
What should be checked before installation?
Confirm airflow, pressure, dew-point requirement, inlet temperature, ambient temperature, electrical supply, ventilation, condensate drainage, connection sizes and service access.
Air Dryer FAQs
What is the difference between a refrigeration dryer and an adsorption dryer?
Refrigeration dryers suit general moisture control, while adsorption dryers are used where much drier compressed air is required.
What airflow range is available?
The overall range covers approximately 4 to 1530 CFM, depending on dryer type and model.
Which brands are available?
The supplied ranges include FSN, Hiline, Tanair, Omega, MOK and MKE products, subject to current availability and model selection.
Can Compressed Air Systems UK install and service air dryers?
Yes. Installation, pipework, filtration, condensate management, commissioning, servicing and repairs are available subject to the equipment and site.
