FINI CUBE • Floor Mounted

FINI CUBE Floor-Mounted Screw Compressors

Compact 4–7.5 kW fixed-speed direct-drive screw compressors for installations with a separate air receiver and air treatment, delivering 16.2 to 37.1 CFM at up to 10 bar.

Compact compressor-only packages for an existing or separately designed air system

The floor-mounted FINI CUBE range is designed for sites that want the compressor as a compact standalone package, with the air receiver and treatment equipment located elsewhere in the system.

Three motor sizes cover common workshop and light-industrial requirements: 4 kW at 16.2 CFM, 5.5 kW at 24.9 CFM and 7.5 kW at 37.1 CFM.

All three models are three-phase direct-drive machines rated for operation at up to 10 bar. Choose on required airflow and working pressure rather than motor kW alone.

For reliable sizing, add together the airflow of equipment that can operate at the same time, confirm the required working pressure at the furthest point of use and allow sensible spare capacity. If you are unsure, call 0121 753 3330 and we can help assess the duty.

FINI CUBE Floor-Mounted Range

Choose the required airflow: 4 kW / 16.2 CFM, 5.5 kW / 24.9 CFM or 7.5 kW / 37.1 CFM.

Model & Output Guide

Match airflow to the job before choosing the package

CFM is the key starting point for compressor sizing because it describes how much air the machine can deliver. kW indicates motor power, while bar describes pressure. The right compressor must provide both the required airflow and sufficient pressure after normal system losses.

CUBE 5.5105.5 kW24.9 CFM705 L/min68 dB(A)

Do not size from receiver litres or motor kW alone. Two applications with the same receiver size can have very different continuous air demands.
Configuration Guide

Build the compressed-air system around the application

Use with a separate receiver

A correctly sized air receiver provides stored air, supports pressure stability and helps reduce excessive cycling.

Add suitable air treatment

Where dry compressed air is required, specify a refrigerated dryer and filters sized above the compressor flow rather than matching the nominal CFM exactly.

Plan the pipework

Use adequately sized ring-main or distribution pipework so pressure drop does not undo the benefit of choosing the correct compressor.

Allow service access

Keep the cabinet accessible for routine checks, filter changes, oil servicing and ventilation cleaning.

These models do not include an air receiver or integrated refrigerated dryer. They are a strong choice where the wider compressed-air system is being designed separately or where suitable receiver and treatment equipment are already in place.
Sizing & Installation

What to check before ordering

  • Airflow: establish the combined CFM of tools and machinery that can run together, not just the largest single user.
  • Pressure: confirm the pressure required at the point of use and allow for losses through pipework, filters and dryers.
  • Electrical supply: these CUBE models are three phase; confirm the final 400/415V supply, isolator, protection and cable requirements for the selected machine with a competent electrician.
  • Ventilation: allow enough cool intake air and a clear route for warm cooling air to leave the compressor area.
  • Service access: leave practical clearance around service panels, filters, drains and air-treatment components.
  • Pipework: use adequately sized distribution pipework to reduce pressure drop and provide isolation points where equipment needs to be maintained.
  • Condensate: receivers, dryers and filters can produce condensate; provide suitable automatic drains and compliant disposal arrangements.
CFM, kW & Pressure

Three figures that should be considered together

CFM — Airflow

Free-air delivery is the amount of compressed air available to the system. Choose enough CFM for simultaneous demand and a sensible operating reserve.

kW — Motor Power

Motor kW is useful for identifying the compressor size, but it is not a substitute for checking the delivered airflow at the required pressure.

Bar — Working Pressure

Higher pressure is not automatically better. Excess system pressure can increase energy use, leakage and stress on pneumatic equipment.

Receiver — Stored Air

The receiver provides storage and helps stabilise demand. It does not create additional continuous CFM, so compressor output must still match the process.

Frequently Asked Questions

FINI CUBE questions answered

Do these floor-mounted models include a receiver?

No. They are compressor-only floor-mounted packages. A suitable receiver should be provided separately where required by the system design.

Do these models include a refrigerated dryer?

No. If moisture control is required, add a correctly sized standalone dryer and filtration or choose a CUBE ES package with an integrated refrigerated dryer.

Which model gives the most airflow?

The 7.5 kW CUBE 7.510 provides the highest airflow in this group at approximately 37.1 CFM / 1050 L/min.

Are the CUBE floor-mounted compressors three phase?

Yes. These models are intended for a UK 400/415V three-phase electrical supply. The final electrical provision should be confirmed against the selected model and installation requirements.

Can you help size the receiver and dryer?

Yes. Tell us the required CFM, working pressure, operating hours, air quality requirements and available space and we can help specify the complete system.

Need help choosing the right FINI CUBE?

Tell us what equipment you are running, required working pressure, estimated operating hours and whether you need a receiver, dryer or complete installation. Our compressed-air team can help narrow down the correct package.
